I have worked in publishing and media for over 20 years as a journalist/writer, ghostwriter, visual artist, one-liner wit maverick, book editor, and mentor/coach. I've combined these experiences at Pine Ridge Creative to help brands tell their stories, to research and write essays and stories, to illustrate elements of the human condition, to edit clients' collateral content, and to collaborate with sales and marketing departments.

I excel at a combination of precise prose (not too flowery), powerful imagery, and brevity.

And I should also mention that I continue to illustrate and write an original creative nonfiction graphic novel. I'm a digital and analog original type (the yin and yang of making it happen).

On a personal-but-important note, I volunteer as a pet therapist with my rescue dog, Jake, in transitional care units. He's a Zen master of all canines. We are certified by the national Alliance of Therapy Dogs
